New 161 PS diesel engine for Jaguar XF

Jaguar’s trade policy used to be the opposite of the German premium brands. The base price of their vehicles is high, but in return, mounted engines are powerful and well-equipped models.

However, many things are changing in Jaguar. With the introduction of the Jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel 190 hp, base price is similar to its competitors (promotionally now is at 39,900 euros, but the regular price of 45,900 euros), although it remains better equipped.

Now Jaguar goes further, and will introduce a 161 hp 2.2 Diesel in order to achieve, we suppose, a more attractive entry price. It is unusual among its rivals, use a little engine so powerful. The Mercedes-Benz E 200 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, which has 136 hp, the Volvo S80 DRIVe 115 hp are some of these exceptions.
