VW Jetta Won’t Start Sometimes – Engine Will Turn Over Though

Thanks for your time – I have a 2001 VW Jetta that is having a intermittent starting problems. I have taken it to the dealer & they cannot duplicate the problem. Sometimes the car starts, however recently the car will turn-over but not start. The dealer checked the charging systems & they appear to be fine. I notice when you unlock & open the doors there is a small motor sound. Could the starting have something to do with this motor? I noticed that if the motor does not sound the car will not start?? 1996 Dodge Intrepid Battery Goes Down – Engine Won’t Start

I’m having trouble starting my 1996 Dodge Intrepid. The trouble started happening when a friend tried to hook up a cd player but was unable as the player was missing a part. I did notice a loose battery cable which I tightened. Then, it was ok for half a day. Next time I tried to start it the engine did not turn. I have lights, radio,etc. However, when you turn the ignition with the headlights on they do dim. Do you think it could be something electrical from messing with the wires for the cd player? 1997 Chevy Lumina Engine Won’t Turn Over or Start

I have a 97 Chevy Lumina that won’t turn over. There is power to lights all accessories. When I turn key to start the car nothing happens and the Security light is blinking. which has never happen before.

Ford Excort Silhouette Cabriolet Won’t Start Sometimes

Ford Excort Silhouette Cabriolet L reg and have intermittent problems starting the car.Sometimes it can be fine for days or weeks then suddenly not start again. When this problem first starting happening about a year and a half ago I got a brand new battery and this seemed ok for a fews days then died again. My mecanic tested the battery which was found to be fine along with the altenator (also fine) and in short could not find the source of the problem so suggested it maybe electical.

Renault Megane Classic Saloon 1.6 1999 Won’t Start Sometimes

query about my car, just bought it a week ago (used) and when being driven (even on motorways) the acceloration decreasing and the engine cuts out, it wouldnt start so i called the AA(recovery) and said there was a problem with the realy (the aa guy said it was the main relay), I had that changed and it happened today again (it cut off on the motorway) but it started fine. I also have a problem with the keys and the central locking not working, inside the key, theres a microchip that enables it to start and can cut out if not the right key. My question is, is the car stopping because of the faulty key, or it there another problem? please help, i havent a clue about cars.

Dodge Stratus Engine Will Turn Over But Won’t Start

My car has been having a problem starting and running. It is a 2000 Dodge Stratus. The engine will turn over but it will not start. The battery and alternator have been checked and they are fine. The car will run fine for a few days and then it just won’t start. It seems to be more of a problem when it has warmed up. It will usually start up after sitting all night, but it may take several tries. We took it to a mechanic and he said the fuel pump was bad.

VW Jetta Won’t Start Sometime – Starter Motor Burns up With Key Off

I have a 1997 VW Jetta (auto) with a 2.0 L engine. About a month ago, the car suddenly wouldnt start. So a mechanic I knew helped me to replace the starter. We thought the problem was solved. It was not. One week after replacing it, on a trip to KY the starter went out again.

1996 Renault Clio Is Hard to Start When it Rains – Starts OK In The Sun

1996 Renault Clio 1.2. Its been running great since i had it in Febuary, but since i changed the plugs everything started going wrong. When i come home at night and park the car up, if it rains during the night the car wont start the next morning.

1993 Toyota Camry Will Not Start Sometimes – But Engine Turns Over

The 1993 Camry has 84,000 miles and runs very good when it runs. The maddening problem is it may decide to start or not start today. The starter turns the engine over so no problem with starter or battery.
