2001 Chevrolet 1500 Truck – Automatic Transmission Jerks

My 2001 Chevy 1500 with an automatic transmission does fine until you get to 41 mph where it shifts to overdrive I guess. The RPM drop to 1100, when you speed up slowly to say 45, 46 mph it “bumps” real bad several times. I changed the fluid and filter 6 months ago at 50,000 but this has not helped. Do you have any advice?

2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Automatic Transmission

I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara edition with an automatic transmission. It has 92,000 miles on it. I have changed the filter and fluid twice since I have had it. I bought it at 30,000 miles. It has had small amounts of metal in the pan (magnet). Is this normal or am I looking at rebuilding it (transmission) soon? I keep a close watch on fluids. It is always at the correct level.

Chevy Truck Automatic Transmission is Slipping – Do I Need an Overhaul?

A friend of mine has a 1997 Chevy Silverado with an automatic transmission. About two months ago she was driving and the transmission line that goes into the cooler came out. That was replaced along with the fluid. Now there has been problems with the transmission revving up higher than normal, or not shifting properly. Sometimes not wanting to go over about 30 mph. Does this mean that the transmission needs to be replaced?

Honda Dealership Refuses to Honor Warranty On Manual Transmission Failure

I am currently battling my dealership because I am 1700 miles over my warrantee and my manual transmission went up. They are saying that they can’t help me because I did not use there dealership for routine maintenance and they are accusing the shop that I used of dumping the transmission fluid. I find this hard to believe because I had my oil changed a month before the transmission went up and the car was driving fine for 3 weeks. However, the Honda dealership had my car for 2 weeks before they supposedly diagnosed the problem. My question is: is it possible to drive a Honda with a manual transmission for weeks without transmission fluid? People are telling me that the car would not have gone into gear without this fluid in place.
