1996 Ford Probe GT

I recently purchased a 1996 Ford Probe GT that keeps reporting a P1195 error code. I checked it with an OBD2 scanner tool one week, cleared it, and the check engine light returned about 5 days later reporting the same code.

1998 Mazda MPV Utility Vehicle

I have a 1998 Mazda MPV with 174,000 miles on it. Does this car have a metal or nylon timing belt? We have changed the fuel filter and now it will not start, before the change it started but ran badly.

1989 Chevrolet Small-Block Car Engine

My boat’s engine is 1989 Chevrolet Small-Block 350. When I turn the ignition on to start, the starter does not seem to catch. It just hums. I have to wait a little until it stops the spinning sound and then I can try again.

1993 Ford Mustang LX 5.0

My 1993 Ford Mustang LX 5.0, with the key on engine off, I can hear the fuel pump running. It will not stop until I turn the key off all so the car will not start. Is the fuel pump causing this?

1996 Honda Civic LX

I have a 1996 Honda Civic LX normal run of the mill Honda motor. It burns oil about a quart every 1200 mi. Motor has 95,000 mi on it and not leaking. What would be the primary suspect? These motors should not burn oil with that kind of mileage, am I right?

1987 Dodge Dakota

The other day I was driving my 1987 Dodge Dakota and all of a sudden smoke came out from under the hood. Then I popped the hood and realized it was antifreeze going on the exhaust manifold and it looks like its coming from the water pump or the head gasket.

1995 Toyota Camry

I have a 1995 Toyota Camry that I acquired from someone else. I have no idea when the car had been maintained. But I was told by a mechanic that at this point, since the car has 180,000 miles and the oils have not been changed regularly besides the oil changes do not change them now because if it is replaced, the car will not function properly and it will cause major problems.
