I bought a new car in December 2006. Was I supposed to get two set of keys? I only received one key and one keypad. When the dealership to request another set. I was told they gave me what was given to them.
My fiancé’ bought a 1994 Chevrolet 3-4 ton truck. The throttle body is dumping fuel into the motor. He changed the plugs, wires, distributor, cap, rotor, fuel filter, and computer. He checked the timing and it is good.
I am currently replacing a connecting rod in my 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. It is a 2.0L DOHC engine. I am wondering if it is possible to replace the engine with a newer model (2003 or so) 2.4L engine without much customizing of the car.
I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey with about 10,000 miles on it. It recently started making clicking sounds as I am accelerating. I took it to Honda and they said the second cylinder is damaged and I will need to replace the whole block.
I want to put on a cold air intake on my 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. It would seem this should be easy to get piping for and make myself, but looking at the engine, I notice one thing, which I do not understand.
I had my 1997 GMC Sierra pickup towed to an auto repair shop on Jan 11, 2007. On February 22, I was finally told the fuel pump and module needed to be replaced. I was then told that they needed to replace the fuel pump and module and was quoted a total price of US$582. This was US$432 for parts and $125 for labor and the rest I guess was tax.
I drive a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix and have around 30,000 miles on my car. How important is it to have the 30,000-mile check (which is very expensive)?
I was wondering if there is any way I can fix my fuel gage myself. I have never repaired anything on a car. Therefore, I think it may be best if I get a mechanic to do it. How much do you think it would cost (ballpark) for someone to do that (plus labor, tax, and all that)?
I own a 2002 Toyota Tacoma. The vehicle has been driven 58,000 very careful miles. To date the local Toyota dealer is the only agency that has performed maintenance service on my vehicle.
