Can Adding too Much Gas to My Car Cause the Check Engine Light to Come on?

I have a customer who is complaining that she had to get her car repaired because she had a “check engine” light on after pumping gas at our facility. She complains that this “Check engine” light came on because she had overflow of gas from her tank while she was pumping gas at our facility due to a defective nozzle.

Ford Expedition Check Engine Light On – Faulty Oxygen Sensors?

I have a 1997 Ford Expedition and we replaced all 4 of the O2 sensors this spring (one at a time) and now they are all bad again. What can cause them to go bad? My engine is “boggy” when in the idle position, especially when air conditioner is on. Should I address this immediately?

Dodge Dakota Air Conditioner Blower Works on High Speed Only

I have a Dodge Dakota 2001. Yesterday after work, I found that the fan speed switch for the AC / heater only works on high speed now. All other speeds are equal to the off position. Any ideas at all? Thank you for your time.

1995 Mercury Mystique Engine Overheats and Runs Hot

I have a problem of overheating in my 1995 Ford Mercury Mystique. The temperature stays just below the middle mark while running and after driving for a bit when I need to stop at a signal or a turn I can hear the ac fan switch on however if I have to go slow in nose to nose traffic the temp rises and I have to switch off the ac but the temp does not come down. Aditionally if I have a straight drive for around 15 miles without any stops and have to return back home then when I reach home and switch off the car the water in the reservoir starts overflowing. I have got my mechanic to clean the radiator and he says the water pump too seems to be working, his suggestion now is to put a swithc so that both fans work continuously and if this does not work the engine gasket will have to be changed as that is why the water is backing/boiling up into the reservoir. I do not have any problem if I drive around 10 miles with the ac on minimum.

Mercury Mystique Runs Bad and Dies – Computer Says Engine Is Lean

I drive a 1996 Mercury Mystique 2.0L. It is suttering and sometimes stalling on acceleration. It is worse on hot days, it’s also worse when the AC is on. The mechanic told me to get the PCM reflashed based on a TSB he found but that only made a very slight improvement. The engine code says my engine is running lean and disconnecting the Mass Air Flow sensor made the condition worse not better. Any suggestions?

My Toyota Corolla Battery Goes Dead – Battery and Alternator are New

I have a 1992 Toyota corolla. It has been dieing quite a bit lately. I have replaced the alternator and the battery. The belt is tight and in good shape. The fuses all appear good. I have taken to a dealer and they can’t seem to find the problem. It seems to be intermittent. The clock light starts to fade AND THEN THE Car goes dead. The battery at that point has around 9 or less volts reading on the voltage meter.
