We recently had a complete brake job on my moms 1994 Ford Escort, but I feel the price we paid was a little high. Can you tell me if you think we were treated fairly? I don’t want to pay more than I need or should pay.

My car failed the emission test so I had the catalytic converter replaced, but the check engine light still comes on and then goes off. Somtimes the check engine light will not come on at all. Does this mean I need to have the light re-programmed?
