My wife drives a 2000 Oldsmobile Allero. Recently, it began making a grinding/scratching noise when driving at very slow speeds (slower than 10 mph or so) while both accelerating and decelerating. The noise is almost more noticeable from inside the car than out. She thinks it also occurs while turning right more frequently than while turning left.

I just had it in for replacement of electrical sensor chip and 3 hours of diagnostics to find this out. Why didn’t the diagnostics show the hose problem at the same time? I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler 4.0L six cylinder automatic.The last couple of weeks I have had a whistling sound under my hood. It goes away when I accelerate; but at cruise or idle; the whistle is there (also when the vehicle is in park). The sound goes away after about ten minutes of driving. The Jeep runs fine; but the whistle is annoying. From what I can tell; it is coming from the driver’s side.

Hi, my friend has a 2000 Honda Civic 2 dr. and just today while the car was at an idle i noticed that the car was kind of spitting something out of the exhaust pipe…. I ran my finger threw it and it was oil. I looked under the car and it was dripping out of the muffler… it was a kind of mixture of oil and water….and I was looking on the internet to look for what causes that and I was thinking it was a bad gasket or seal but i wasn’t sure. so I decided to ask you and see what you think?
