1994 Chrysler LHS Engine Cuts out While I am Driving – Starts up ok

i have a 1994 Chrysler LHS that cuts out on me continuously while driving. i can put it in neutral and crank the starter till it starts and then maybe a mile maybe less it does it again. due to all the cranking of the ignition i burned the starter up and had to have it towed home. do you have any idea what might be causing the engine to die and why it wont stay running while in drive ? what is a faulty crankshaft position sensor and could this be contributing to my problem?

1986 Ford Mustang Distibutor Pick Up Coil Won’t Come Out

Am trying to replace pickup assy in distributor. Manual only tells how to remove & replace distributor. Took screws out of pickup assy & removed copper colored plate (2-5/16″ bolts). Assy won’t budge. Do I have to remove distributor to get it out? Does round base that the copper colored plate was bolted to come out? If so, how? If not, am I better off to just spend the extra $50 to replace the whole distributor?

2002 Acura Shakes When Engine RPM gets High Between 3000 and 4000

I have Acura 2002 with 93 K miles on it. It runs perfect and there is nothing wrong with it. But recently when I start to run my car, It shakes a little bit. I have noticed the my RPM goes to 3 or 4 and car shakes a bit and then as soon as it changes the gear, Car is runs fine. Don’t know what is wrong with it. I have heard about you and was wondering if you can tell me why all this happening and what I need to get fixed?

1996 GMC Safari Van Fuel Gauge Fluctuates and Check Gauges Light On

I have a 1996 GMC Safari van and I had a new fuel gauge put in the tank about 1 year ago and now my gauge fluctuates and just recently my check gauge comes on and off every 30 seconds what is the problem I’m poor and cant afforded the work and would like to try to fix my self can you help.

1995 Ford Escort Engine Noise – Is It the Lifters or Oil Pump?

I have a question about a 1995 ford escort. The engine started to make a loud noise, I believe it’s the lifters. What would cause the lifters to make a loud noise? Plus, the car was getting hot. Did the oil pump fail or is something clogged, or does it simply need a oil change? The oil was changed less than 6 months ago.

1988 Dodge Dakota Heater Not Hot

I have a 1988 Dodge Dakota and I cannot get the heater to work. No hot air. The fan does work but seems to change speed when I slide the heat control lever from hot to cold. I have air flow when I switch to defrost/panel/floor, just no heat. The air conditioner does not blow cold air all of a sudden either. I figured it needed to be recharged tho. The water lines are clear and I have checked all the connections. I have flushed the heater core. I removed the thermostat and checked that. The radiator is also new. I just had the transmission rebuilt and had some wiring concerns with that. I’m just throwing in things that I know have been completed. Can you suggest something I have overlooked?

Chevy 1500 Pick Up Oil and Fuel Gauges Not Working Properly

I have a problem with my Fuel gauge and Oil pressure gauges. The oil pressure gauge is not functioning at all but my fuel gauge works a little bit. Explanation: 1988 Chevy c1500, 2WD, 305 with Auto Trans. The fuel gauge normally sits on 1/4 tank when full and seems to drop when getting low on gas. I never let it get too low for fear of running out. I never know how much fuel I have in there. I’ve done some reading / searching for answers and I think it may be the fuel sending unit? Do you think this is correct?

Chrysler LHS Check Engine Light On – Code 66 PCM?

I have a 1996 Chrysler LHS. My check engine light came on and the code that came up was 66 meaning PCM is not receiving CCD Bus signals. I know what PCM means but cannot find anything that mentions CCD Bus signals. Can you help?

1975 Chevy Nova Have to Jump Start Battery To Start Engine?

I have a 1975 Chevrolet nova and i replaced the battery a week ago. When i go to start it nothing works and the connections to the battery are fine, today i tried to jump start it and the same thing happened, nothing. before I put in this battery it would jump start with the old one too. Today I also checked the fuses and I didn’t see anything wrong. But i cant take it anywhere because I’m painting it right now but i don’t want to mess up my new engine by not starting it.
